Throughout this course you will be introduced to the basics of drawing and painting using a variety of mediums - this block will feature pencil, charcoal and watercolours!

Each week, we will focus on a different subject or medium. Participants will explore various drawing and painting techniques, and be guided step-by-step through creating their images.

You'll Learn Techniques Such As:

• Shading and mark-making to create texture and depth

• Blending and layering techniques

• Watercolour techniques such as washes, wet-on-wet, and dry brush

You'll be encouraged to embrace a playful and experimental approach to drawing and painting, exploring a range of methods and techniques to find what works best for you. No previous experience is necessary!
